The aim: was to illuminate how people with schizophrenia experience meeting with nursing staff. Method: A literature review based on nine scientific articles was performed. Result: The results showed that people with schizophrenia experienced the meeting with nursing staff as both positive and negative. Conclusion: Both nursing theory and Swedish law highlights the importance of understanding the patient, by doing this good nursing can be created.
