Abstract [en]

This chapter will briefly review some of the literature on self-harm, its prevalence, relevant national policies, and research with teachers, before reporting the findings of a qualitative study conducted in 2016 which investigated how prepared secondary-school teachers were dealing with young people who self-harm.
